I’ve posted a second request to get someone to help re-write my german pages for ideaspad to get better ranking on google. I know these pages don’t have any / many inbound links.
However if we take this page as an example.
http://www.mindwarp-consultancy-software.com/de/karteikartensystem.php
What do I need to do with it?
In an ideal world and I could get someone to re-do it for me?
Or do I just need inbound links?

In terms of tag/ title structure I think it looks pretty good. I can’t comment on the actual text or keywords however. Maybe G would have a better idea in this respect.
G wrote the page a couple of years ago.
Any thoughts how I get links from german sites?
How do you find English directory sites ?
karteikartensystem is my best german keyword.

I find directories by searching for “free web directory lists” or similar terms. These invariably turn up lists of English sites though.
I think the problem is the german mentality and some other small things …
1.) I would link directly to the share-it page when you click to “Kaufen”. At the first look, I did not see where to buy.
2.) I think for german people the web page content is too “lurid”. ( I know I made the translation – but the english template was lurid like that … )
3.) The text is not translated at all. e.g. Screenshots are in english
4.) The download link is not obvious at all.
I guess lurid is a good description of the page.
At the time when I wrote the english pages I thought they would work, I wasn’t too concerned about the content as long as they were keyword dense. They are landing pages.
I didn’t have the time to do an awful lot but I thought it was worth a try.
I guess at the time I should have looked at the stats.
But I just wanted to get the pages up and see how they performed
The logical next step was to have the equivalent in german.
I guess I really need to make them into second product pages. Like I’ve done with kids mask factory.
I guess though I really need to be certain that I’ve using the right keywords to sell my products.
I’m position 2 on google for that keyword for that page. So I guess its not doing so bad. Although I’ve only getting a few hits per day and is one of my best german pages. But thats best out of a bad lot.
So I guess I have to figure out what german people search for when they are looking for a product like ebay, hopefully I can re-use on of my existing keyword pages.
Thoughts?
Thanks for the discussion guy, please I’ve reached this point.
