Maximizing wordpress comments with twitter

I don’t if you’ve got into twitter yet, I’m seeing a great number advantages and opportunities with twitter. Although I don’t tweet that much at the moment.

Anyways I was chatting to blue earlier and then I had a look at twitter then Blue twitter page and found a comment which looked interesting so I clicked on the link and found it was a reply / a comment he’d made on someones blog.

This was new to me.

Then I noticed that the blog, had allowed him to post his comment via twitter and as a blog comment. This just seems like an amazing idea and gives comments a lot of power.

Heres that URL.

Only thing is I can’t find a plugin, yet :(

Seems an interesting idea. Where do the twitter versions
of the comments get posted? Do they appear on your
    own twitter page?

Yes, if you follow the link for his user name.

Another advantage from signing into twitter to make a blog post is that you don“t have to give your personal details. Which is in itself a really neat feature.

I had thought I’d found a plugin to do all this, but it doesn’t post the comments to twitter. :(

The blog is mine and is powered by http://posterous.com

Which is worth a look for a simple to use blogging
    system.

For a wordpress plugin take a look at http://disqus.com/
as I *think* this supports twitter.
