I always seems to end up with a masssive list of bookmarks and a long list of folders.
Then perhaps every year I take a backup and start again from scratch.
I’m getting in a bit of a mess now so I was thinking I’d like to start a fresh in a way where I don’t end up in a mess.
Do you specify folders and sub folders and sub folders etc?

I don’t really use favourites and bookmarks except for
things like access to my Webmail.
I tend to go to Google and do a search.
I also don’t use bookmarks when Safari starts up it auto shows my most used sites apart from that I tend to type them in or google them.
Vicki does have the google toolbar installed and that puts all her bookmarks on the web and she can easily view the book mark drop down or search it using google desktop search.
I’ve had a look at google bookmarks and this doesn’t offer extra organisation features. Also search and tags don’t sound like a quick method to find the bookmark.
So I think the only option for me is to come up with structure of folders.
However this doesn’t sound like it will stop me getting in a mess.
